With the arrival of winter and the virus diseases are almost inevitable to have bouts of coughing. Some people still resort to natural remedies learned from grandmother’s time to fight cough. Cough is a symptom and aggression is viral or bacterial effect on mucous membranes.
Natural remedies for cough
Honey – an antiseptic and soothing cough. You can use sunflower honey, lime, lavender honey pine, fir or forest honey.
Onions – Relieves cough, and sore throat and headache due to sinusitis. It can be made into a syrup, which is prepared with honey or tea form, that way you can drink sweetened with a little honey all.
Tea nutshell – leaves and walnut shells have been used since ancient times for treating various diseases. All functions are due depurative, anti-inflammatory, soothing and healing properties that they own nutshells.
But one of the remedies that I worked every time is: is put in a pot: 1 nut complete with peel 1 small onion, complete with bark, 5 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon linden flowers and 2 cups of water. I put the sugar melted and caramelized when I was out with a cup of water. Then I put the pot nut, onion, lime flowers and one cup of water and let it simmer on low heat 10-15 minutes. It will get a syrup that will drink about 3 teaspoons after meals.
